Jeff Becker was born in Andale, Kansas. His formative years were spent at Garden Plain High School before going on to Friends University to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

He’s a veteran of the HVAC industry, with over two decades experience before becoming President / Service Manager of Fenix in 2005.

He and his wife, Rebecca, have three kids and three grandkids, and when he’s not spending time with his family, he takes a little time to himself to golf.

Luke Parthemer was born in Frankfort, Kansas and played football at Butler County Community College before going on to earn a Master’s Mechanical License. He worked in the HVAC industry for five years before going to work for Fenix in 2005 & becoming part owner in 2009.

He and his wife, Jamie, have six kids. Spending quality time with his wife and kids is of the utmost importance. When he’s not keeping up with all the various kids’ sporting events (football, basketball, baseball), Luke likes to hunt, fish, and pass the time with water sports.

Luke’s also a board member (and past president) of the Kansas Cooling Contractors Association, as well as a member of the Wichita Area Builders Association.

Cory Curl was born in Burlington, Colorado before making his way to Kansas to pursue an Associate of Arts at Butler County Community College, and then topping it off with a Bachelor in Business Management at Friends University.

Not long after that, he made his way into the HVAC industry, which he worked within for nine years before becoming a member of the Fenix family in 2003. He became part owner in 2009, and does a bit of sales on the side.

He lives with his wife, Bryn, and their two children. Outside of work, he likes to follow college football, go fishing, and woodworking. Cory’s also keen on music trivia (go ahead and ask him anything). He’s also a board member of the Wichita Area Technical College.

Grady Adams, a Wichita native, graduated from Mulvane High, although he also spent some time studying in the school of hard knocks.

A 27-year veteran of the HVAC industry, Grady has spent most of his time with Fenix, except for a decade between 2005 and 2015 in which he was self-employed in the HVAC industry. At Fenix, he is the New Construction Manager, but he dabbles in Sales as well.

He and his wife of 29 years, Katherine, have three kids and two grandkids. He spends most of his free time with his grandkids, but Grady slips in a round of golf when he can.

Shawna Cooley is a Wichita native. She graduated from her alma mater, WSU, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and a minor in Management. She began at Fenix in 2014 as an administrative assistance before moving up to the Office Manager.

Together with her boyfriend, they have four young children. Outside of working, she likes to watch her boys play baseball and football. They also love fishing, going on camping trips and hanging out with family and friends.

Crystal Phelps was born right here in Wichita and went to West High. She joined the Fenix family in 2006 as an administrative assistant.

She and her husband have three children. She’s passionate about church, as well as attending as many of her sons’ soccer games and her daughter’s dances as possible. She considers spending time with her family to be the highlight of her life, and when she’s not doing that, she’s spending time with friends, or watching the KU games.
